You can create a new stock item by selecting the “New Item” option at the top of the list. Then you will just need to fill out the form. The image below shows a blank form and the definition of each field.
Fill out the fields relating to your new item.
Item Name:
I.e BIC Cristal Original Ballpoint Pen Medium 0.32 mm Black
Unit Price (£): Enter the price for one unit of the item.
Category & Sub Category:
Choose the category and sub category associated with this record. New categories can be created using the plus icon.
Supplier:
If you use a specific supplier for this item you can assign them in this field for easy access.
Supplier Ref:
Reference of the item you are listing which is used by the supplier.
Barcode: Enter the item barcode if it has one.
Quantity: The quantity of the item you currently have in stock.
